Jamaican Food
Hands - down... Jamaican food is among the best in the world! When
you think Jamaica, jerk recipes may immediately pop to mind, but after
sampling our unique Jamaica foods prepared with a wide array of herbs
and spices, you may have a hard time choosing a favourite! We are no
great food critics, but take our word for it… you will be licking your
fingers and begging for more! Let’s go on the road and get our Jamaican
food on.
Pier 1 – Montego Bay
Jutting out on the waterfront along Howard Cooke Boulevard is this
lively open seafood restaurant and bar that also boasts great nightly
entertainment. Pier 1 is our pick for tasty but reasonably priced food
with a wickedly awesome view! It’s a popular spot for both tourists and
Jamaicans alike so feel free to strike up a conversation in this fun
loving atmosphere.

Twisted Kilt
Twisted Kilt is a popular spot with tourists! Along the hip strip of
Gloucester Avenue, this Irish themed bar serves you the best Irish
inspired food with a Jamaican twist. Enjoy great service from the
staff, especially the female bartenders who wear sexy kilts as you
watch your favourite game on multiple HD flat screens or grab a group
of friends and face-off in a game of pool.

Margarites
Many say that this is the most expensive restaurant in Montego Bay… you
be the judge. One thing is for sure, this is a really fantastic
restaurant with a fabulous array of dishes (seafood dishes are sinfully
divine) and a great selection of wines from which to choose.

Pork Pit
Renowned for its great jerk dishes, Pork Pit offers pork, chicken,
ribs, shrimps (I’m torn between the ribs and the shrimps) and lots more
jerked meats complemented with bammies, roasted sweet potatoes and
yams…all at great prices!

Musiq
We discovered this cozy little bar along the hip strip just beside Pork
Pit and decided to experiment. The music was great, the drinks
were cheap and the open space made it a nice hang out spot.
