The recently renovated Cornwall Beach is a white sand gem, a little further from the town, along the hip strip of Montego Bay. It is the perfect beach to have a lazy, laid-back Sunday afternoon lounging in the Caribbean sun. I did, however, give in to the temptation to play a lively game of volley ball on the sparkling white sand (don't worry, I'm not that great at volleyball either).
In my opinion, this is one of the best beaches for hanging out with kids as you can always keep an eye on them from the great panoramic view. There are also cool thatched gazeboes for resting and taking shelter from the sun.
When you get hungry there’s a snack counter from which to grab a bite. Did I mention that the restrooms are newly updated, very clean and are outfitted with changing rooms? In my book, this is always a plus!
If you are a couple looking for a more private, intimate beach, then this may not be your best pick. But if your hotel is along the hip strip and you are into lounging and relaxing on a white sandy beach, this is definitely the spot for you!
